Welcome to Sierra Hills Marine. By using this website, submitting a form, or requesting service, you agree to the terms below.

1) Website Use

  • You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes (learning about our services, contacting us, viewing boats for sale, and applying for financing).

  • Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape content, submit spam, or misuse forms.

2) Accuracy of Information

We do our best to keep information current, but content may occasionally be incomplete or out of date (including service descriptions, pricing, and boat listings). We may correct errors and update the website at any time.

3) Boats for Sale

  • Boat listings are subject to prior sale and availability may change.

  • Photos, specs, and descriptions are provided for convenience and may not reflect every detail or option.

  • Unless otherwise stated in writing, boats are offered as-is, where-is with any applicable manufacturer warranties passing through (if available).

4) Service Requests, Scheduling & Estimates

When you request service (mobile or in-shop), we may ask for additional details (photos, hull ID, engine info, trailer info, location, and availability) so we can schedule properly.

  • Estimates (if provided) are based on the information available at the time and may change if additional issues are discovered.

  • Completion times can vary based on parts availability, workload, and weather/field conditions for mobile service.

5) Rates, Fees & Payment

Published service and decontamination pricing may be updated at any time. Current posted rates include:

Service (mobile repair/maintenance):

  • $185/hour labor

  • Service call fee by distance tier:

    • Tier 1: $120 (under 15 miles)

    • Tier 2: $160 (under 25 miles)

    • Tier 3: $200 (under 40 miles)

Decontamination (AIS) tiers:

  • Simple: $50

  • Intermediate: $100

  • Complex: $150

Payment is due at time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Returned payments, chargebacks, or unpaid balances may result in additional fees and/or suspension of service.

6) Cancellations / Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in a trip/service-call charge, especially for mobile service.

7) Decontamination (AIS) Disclosures

Decontamination helps boaters comply with certain local launch requirements and reduces the spread of aquatic invasive species. Requirements, inspections, quarantine seals, and launch permissions are determined by the managing agencies and may change. We cannot guarantee that any third party will accept a vessel for launch, even after decontamination.

8) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (loss of use, lost time, trip costs, etc.).

  • Marine service work can involve hidden damage or pre-existing conditions; we are not responsible for failures caused by pre-existing wear, corrosion, prior repairs, misuse, or lack of maintenance.

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be limited by law.

9) Third-Party Links

This website may link to third-party websites (for example, financing applications, maps, social media). We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of third-party sites.

10) Intellectual Property

All text, images, logos, and site content are owned by Sierra Hills Marine or used with permission. Do not reuse without written approval.

11) Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
