About the Brand

Why We Sell Fish-Rite

Fish-Rite builds welded aluminum boats in Grants Pass, Oregon, on the Rogue River. That is river and reservoir country much like ours, and the boats show it: plate-aluminum hulls, reverse chines and lifting strakes for a dry, stable ride, and layouts built around fishing.

They are purpose-built fishing boats, not runabouts with rod holders added. Depending on the model you get tray rod storage, fish boxes, pedestal seating you can fish from all day, and a canvas or hard top to keep you out there when the weather is not cooperating.

As an authorized Fish-Rite dealer, we stock the Sportsman and can order any model in the lineup, set up with the length, top, seating and power that suit how and where you fish.

Construction

Why Welded Aluminum Suits Northern California

Our water is hard on boats. Reservoir levels drop through the summer, ramps get rough and rivers move gravel around every winter.

No Rivets to Loosen

Every seam on a Fish-Rite is welded. There are no rivets to work loose and weep after seasons of trailering and pounding across chop.

Plate That Takes a Hit

Fish-Rite uses .125-inch sides and bottoms from .160 to .250 inch depending on the model. Gravel bars, stumps and low-water ramps leave scuffs, not repair bills.

Less to Maintain

There is no gelcoat to wax, chip or blister. Rinse it, service the motor and go fishing. Decontamination between lakes is simpler on an open aluminum boat too.

Local Knowledge

Where a Fish-Rite Earns Its Keep

Tell us where you fish and we will point you to the right hull, length and power.

Folsom Lake and the Foothill Reservoirs

Bass and trout on Folsom, Rollins, Collins Lake and Camp Far West. An Angler or 18-foot Sportsman is light to tow up Highway 49 and easy to launch when the water is down.

Sacramento, American and Feather Rivers

Striped bass, shad, steelhead and salmon when seasons allow. The Sportsman and Rivermaster give you the beam and bottom plate for current, anchoring and gravel.

The Delta

Long runs, wind against tide and a lot of open water. A Performer with a top and side curtains keeps you fishing through a cold striper morning.

Tahoe, Donner and the High Country

Trolling deep, cold lakes for mackinaw and kokanee means big water and fast-changing weather. This is where the larger Performer, Outfitter and Navigator hulls make sense.
